Mercy Children's Day-Out

Having heard that the Rotary Club of Pattaya has decided to stage the "Elvis Extravaganza 2008" to the benefit of Mercy Children's Center, Pattaya, Robert Camp, the Managing Director of Adventure Divers, on Thappraya Road, has offered to take the entire Mercy Children's Center out for the day on one of his diving boats.

The children and staff at the Mercy center are now anxiously looking forward to next Tuesday, 18th December, on which the outing will take place.

Biker clubs of Pattaya will be meeting at the Petronas Filling Station on Sukhumvit Road (near Central Pattaya Road) at 9:00am on Tuesday morning, to ride together to the mercy Children's Center, where they will then each be taking a child or member of the staff on their bikes to the Pattaya Pier.

All bikers are encouraged to come.

The biker convoy will leave the Mercy Center at 09:30am and will be escorted by the Pattaya Police to the Pattaya Pier.

The boat, Saifon, will leave the pier at around 10:00am and head towards Ko-Larn, where it will anchor. The children will then be able to snorkel, play or swim, until lunch is served, again, courtesy of Adventure Divers.

After lunch, the children will again be able to snorkel or swim, before heading back to the pier later in the afternoon.

Pattaya People TV will be covering the outing as a build-up to the Rotary Elvis Extravaganza 2008 and we will also be publishing photos of the day on this website.
